what the heck is wrong with goodyear?ren't they participating in this sort of auto renaissance we've seen? >> it's been limited participation. keep in mind, when they're talking about a slowing replacement cycle for tires, it's different than the new car cycle. yes, new car sales are going up. but the replacement market is starting to slow down. that's one issue they're facing. their volumes are down 5% in the fourth quarter. their revenue is up 17% because they've had to jack up prices. this is the second point, rubber prices are through the roof. i know it's this way for all the tire makers. but this has hit goodyear in particular very hard. and they're struggling with that. now, you can look at this and say, listen, others have been able to overcome this. but if you look at all the tire makers, they're all in the same boat here. >> but goodyear has underperformed, bridgestone in japan -- it is now leading the market. >> it is not leading the market. some of that has to do with the way the business market is set up. ove
