joe, back to you. >> danella, thank you very much. >>> new this morning, a family of five is in the hospital suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. news4's tracee wilkins is live outside the family's home in ft. washington with overnight developments. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, joe. this is an unbelievable story. and again, a reminder of just how important it is to have a c.o. detector in your home. the house behind me now, all of the windows are open. fire department's trying to air it out. what is fascinating about there is that the family of five was discovered unconscious inside their home after midnight. it was their sick child who saved them from his hospital bed. according to prince george's county fire officials, a young child who lives in the home was transported to the children's national medical center monday evening. while performing bloodwork, doctors discovered high levels of carbon monoxide in the child's blood. the hospital could not contact the family by phone, so they called the prince george's county fire and ems and asked if someone could go and check on the family. when ems arrived at about 12:3
