steve centanni is in chardon ohio, tell us what is happening?ide of chardon high school where the shooting took place at 7:30. this a community grieving as they say this is a quiet suburban neighborhood, someplace you would never expect something like this to happen. yet at 7:30 this morning, one of the students apparently a student, that hasn't been confirmed by authorities, walked into the cafeteria, about hundred students why inside, he opened fire at a group of students sitting at a table and five of them were injured, one of them later tied died. he is 16-year-old and his parents put out a statement, we are shocked by the senseless tragedy. danny had a bright future ahead of him but, of course, no longer. unbelievable tragedy living in town. we have a news conference, still no word as to motive, no word as to condition of the other students, four other students were injured. no word as to the name of the shooter. >> shep: steve is on the scene. we'll let him get out to do a little reporting. scheduled four minutes from now on your world wit

steve centanni is live with the news in washington tonight. steve, what can you tell us about the latest attack? >> well, harris, this latest attack resulted from a protest over the koran burning that began peacefully and suddenly grew violent. the protesters began clashing with police in the province in the north of the country when grenades were launched at a u.s. base. ambassador to afghanistan said that the u.n. will hold steading in the afghan mission and he has support on capitol hill. >> again, these are terrible tragedies and very worthy of the condemnation that they received. but this is not the time to decide that we're done here. we've got to redouble our efforts. we've got to create a situation in which al-qaeda is not coming back. >> and this episode with the koran burning inspect terrible to watch. and ambassador crocker has got it right. keep your eye on the ball. it's very sad that four americans would lose their lives as a result of an inadvertent burning of the koran. >> they're planning to phase out operations in afghanistan
