palm pilot inventor jeff hawkins, mark leslie, former ceo of veritas software, intel co-founder, andrew groveand laurene powell jobs, widow of apple co-founder steve jobs. one of the undocumented students who was helped by e4fc is krishna avila. he's a u.s. citizen, college graduate, and headed to law school. he also heads up the organization's legal department. >> provided me the space to really get together with other students who were facing the exact same barriers that i was. so back then i was undocumented and four months ago, i received my permanent residency. >> reporter: it's estimated that 65,000 undocumented students graduate from high school in the u.s. each year. some go on to college and face the fear of deportation. the dream act, which has sparked a national debate, would offer a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrant who complete two years of college or serve two years in the military. but so far it's a measure congress has failed to pass. in the meantime, e4fc connects students to legal services, provides college scholarships, and offers educational programs to dream
