his mother was a longtime resident also of the richmond district. she had a home child-care business on fourth avenue. now the twitter service center. he leaves behind his wife, susan, of 17 and a half years of -- and his beautiful children. his mother, his sister, and her husband david and their daughter. his mother and her mother-in- law, his brother-in-law, and others. he graduated from sacred heart high school in san francisco and received his bachelor's degree and a master's in counseling. i met him there through the asian student union where i was more of the political side of the organization and he supported the well-rounded tight organization that was social and political back in 1984. he taught me a lot about community. i can never go to the street here again without thinking about him and all our friends there but also an old club lounge, j.j. parsons and others may know about the lounge that played -- the lounge and there. i do not think -- i will always remember him doing the electric slide on the floor of the lounge, such great oldies

i am the commanding officer of the richmond station. i want to thank officer moore, he has been doing an excellent job tracking the incidents. he gave you a small snapshot of many of the crimes and quality of life issues that have been focused around the rockit room. i deal with many community groups in my neighborhood. i go to several meetings a week. i hear the neighborhood concerns and i hear the complaints about the rockit room, the crime it attracts, the quality of life issues, the noise. i also speak regularly to my officers, might lieutenants and sergeants, who work that i watch. i know how taxing it is on our limited resources to police the rockit room when they have events, especially thursday, friday, and saturday night. it is taxing our resources. oftentimes i wish i had enough resources to vote a squad to set up and be a fixed post in front of the rockit room. i do not have those types of resources so we need your help. i reviewed the recommendations and i feel they are fair and promote public safety. i endorse them 100%. i t
