this as the coast guard last night at sunset called off the search for the missing sailors missing along islands, which isn't a 30 miles outside the golden gate. coast guard spent 30 hours this weekend searching an area that covers roughly 5,000 square miles trying to find the four missing sailors who were onboard the low-speed chase the 38-foot long racing sailboat. on saturday during a race around, huge waves swamped the boat and slammed it into the rocks. several sailors were knocked in the rough seas including mark kasanan, alan kahill of tiburon is still missing as are two other men and one woman. of the missing sailors, they were wearing life preservers and weather gear, but nothing to protect them from the very cold temperatures. reporting live in marin county, "today in the bay." >>> 6:32. and today a second grade teacher from petaluma is dead shot and killed reportedly by her husband. the man shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself as she was walking out of an attorney's office on friday afternoon. the 43-year-old woman was pronounced dead just a few hours after the man
