. >> reporter: 22-year-old22-year- old lamel osbee was supposed to be turning 21 this weekend. but instead, his parents are planning a funeral. >> he did not deserve to die. that was my only boy. my heart is saddened. >> early saturday morning, osbee was driving in a dangerous area, where previous bullets scar an apartment complex. a witness tells wjz, new gunfire seemed to come out of nowhere. osbee hit the gas but got stuck in a dead end. he turned around and pulled out of the neighborhood. >> reporter: police pulled him over for going the wrong way down the street. when he stopped his vehicle, he fell out of the car, and his body was riddled with bullets. he told police he had no idea who shot him. >> as of yet, we have no information. >> my son was a good guy. he never been in a fight. never had a quarrel with anybody. no enemies. >> reporter: lamel's parents also say their son held a steady job and he was deciding if he should finish college or join the navy. >> unbelievable what my husband and i and our family and friends are going through. but what we don't want is anybo
