good afternoon everyone welcome the rosa parks community center. it's my pleasure to join with our police chief with our housing authority commissioners and the great work they're doing with henry alvarez our director to help open up this revitalized community center you know this center serves almost three hundred if not probably more than three hundred low income seniors at a really comfortable place that they call home and the center has been improved with a very welcomed hud grant that the housing authority was able to compete and win almost two million dollars to revitalize the center to make sure it's modern to make sure the the accessibility issues were dealt with between the homes and the center and to make sure that this was the greenest center it could possibly be and then just a couple hours ago i also joined and hinton at the summit for technology for our seniors and people with disability and we announced there that all over the city we would have some fifty three centers that would be equipped with technology upgrades and accessible a
