the only credible poll that we have that was done by a credible organization is san francisco state university percent of sanford says go voters understand crank troy's boating. the other ones have been paid for by the chamber of commerce, and that is unknown opponent to bring tourists boating, so i think the polls are not credible. you also put out a figure that sit in the last election there was one% over votes. the over boat rate was 0.41%. sometime in the memory you have more than doubled the number of votes that occurred in the mayoral election. you said there were up to 3% thrown away in the 2010 race. i want to show you the figure right here. this is the over boats that happened in the june 5 primary, which we just had, compared to the mayoral election in 2011. the big cars over here are the june primary-- big bars over here are the june primary election. over here we see the 2010 races. you can see these are for the u.s. senate races in june 2005 election. -- june 2012 election. the u.s. senate rates were way higher, and even higher than the district tend race, and it disproportionatel

san francisco living wage coalition. and for the sweat-free procurement advisory ordinance as well. unfortunately karl couldn't make it today but working with him led me to create a group at san francisco state university called the students for economic justice, currently at s.f. state. we found out the students aren't being paid the minimum wage because it's a state entity. we're being paid $8. we don't feel it's right. we feel it's a loophole. we feel it's our duty to do something about it. my other co-founder richard has come out to support me today. so i have experience. i'm young, i'm 26, but i'm looking for more experience. i'm also a dual citizen of salvador and america. when i've been in salvador i've been conscience of the sweatshops and now i have an opportunity to actually do something about it and be involved so i feel this would be a great opportunity for me and the city, and yeah, -- supervisor kim: good. thank you. >> thank you very much. supervisor kim: thank you very much. i'm seeing no questions from

we closed the transaction to sell 705 boulevard to san francisco state university. that transaction closed two weeks ago. so we have the funds and we have given notice to the holders of the certificates of participation who are intent to repay those. $75,000 per year through 200029, beginning next year. the mayor's proposed budget is included, as we expected. we hope the funding for the rainy day reserve, it also reflects an expectation that the 2013-2014 fiscal year will include a drop. all of these things helped to reduce the gap. on the other hand, we have these statistics that are so great. the major cuts could be up to $23 million in the middle of the year. superintendent garcia mentioned that there is a historically high level of school districts that are facing fiscal insolvency as a result of the statewide fiscal crisis. these are some overall statistics about the general fund reflected in the recommended budget. i am looking at rita and her team has done the heavy lifting to pull these numbers together. they deserve a lot of acknowledgement for that. i also

i am also a student studying civil engineering at san francisco state university. i am here to support the rebuilding of cpmc because of the opportunities it will bring to our community. by rebuilding cpmc, doors will be opened for young aspiring professionals trying to pursue their dream careers. i am one of many young college graduates going back to school to obtain a higher degree because of the lack of opportunities available. i always thought working hard or you are passionate about would take you anywhere automatically. this is the american dream. for our generation, there is so much competition and limited opportunity. it does take a toll on your confidence. it is because of the cpmc projects the company was able to take me in as an intern. it has only been my second week. the value of being part of something big that contributes to society inspires me to continue to pursue a career in engineering. i never thought i would look forward to breaking up at 6:00 every morning. this internship has made it easy. please support the cpmc so that many young adults in
