santa clara is considering suing the county to get it back. katie marzullo is in santa clara with more. >> reporter: this morning might mark the beginning of a legal battle over the new 49er stadium. to many people's surprise santa clara county pulled 30 million dollars in funding that was earmarked for the new stadium project. why? the oversight committee an designed look at that money after the governor took way the redevelopment agencies said the money should go to education and schools and other institutions for the community. the problem is, it was in 2010 that voters approved 40 million dollars in redevelopment money to be spent on the 49er stadium, 10 million dollars of that was spent and out in remaining 30 million dollars is apparently being revoked many at least one councilman is confused about the whole deal. >> we backed everything so the 49ers would be on the hook. we are in good shape. it is a disappointment because the 49ers were promised this and voters voted overwhelmingly for this and the school district supported it. it is p
