officer eisen shot the beanbag. in an attempt to put distance between the suspect and himself, he started backing up all shouting, put it down. the suspect refused to obey the commands and quickly continue towards officer heppler with knives in each hand. the only option he had to stop the threat to him and fellow officers was to use the fire arm. officer heppler shot the suspect and save himself, the other officers, and undoubtably the suspect's sister from being stabbed. for these actions they are being awarded the silver medal of valor. congratulations.
