we have july ya boorstin with a interview with bob iger. >> thank you so much for joining us today, so a 31% increase in earnings per share, what drove that upside? >> all of our businesses contributed, really. >> maria? >> bob, it's great to have you again, thank you for joining us, many question would be can you characterize what you're seeing out there from the media business, the theme parks? you have a great vantage point of the consumer, how does it peel to you? >> well, i think mixed in a way. the consumer is still flocking to a product they deem valuable and good. and when people come to our parks the spending it up nicely from a year ago. that's a good story. advertising we had a relatively good quarter on the advertising front. but visibility is still lacking. there is a strong upfront of broadcasting. abc had decent rates. scattered pricing has been good but things have kwie adequated down as the summer has worn on, some of that is become of mechanics. >> in your earnings report here you say that the network advertising rates -- or revenues, it's down. will that continue? >>
