that's the fabulous crescent city connector bridge.affic. because of isaac you see barges across the river they are tied up, as are the tugboats. nothing on this river today until the threat of isaac has moved on. we have the latest from the national hurricane center. isaac has slowed down. two things significant. not yet a hurricane, and its forward motion slowed down. right now isaac is 185 miles south southeast of biloxi, maximum sustained winds, moving west at 7 miles per hour. that's the big problem we're going to see withic. it's going to be a slow mover. we do have hurricane warnings up from morgan city all the way to the alabama florida border. that's an issue. we're also going to be looking at the path of isaac. isaac will probably make landfall as a category one storm. we expect it probably right around 11:00 isaac will become a hurricane, category one, make landfall tonight or tomorrow, the seventh anniversary of katrina. again, moving very slowly. because of that, we have to worry about the storm surge, that wall of water b

[laughter] technical difficulties. be patient. enjoy that fabulous bar. i just love landscaping. i grew up in a landscaping business. i learned to appreciate the outdoors. coming to rec and park was a natural transition. i started in may of 1998. i came in as a gardener and worked with the turf crew. i manage approximately 7,000 acres and i supervise 75 to 85 people under my direct supervision. i am responsible for eight parks more or less. every day that i stepped out, i feel so fortunate and very lucky to work for an organization with so many different properties. each one is its own gem. harding park is one of the gems of the city. opened in the 1930's. cypress trees and rolling hills. a very well designed golf course. we've had a very successful presidents cup. the amount of spectators that it drawls, everyone from around the world -- seeing the course on television and the quality of work -- it is very impressive to me that we can do that on the public level. i have an extremely dedicated crew that worked with me. there's not a moment that i'm n

city. welcome to san francisco's largest transgender pride celebration of the year. one of the largest transevents anywhere on the planet earth. let me tell you, you looking fabulous. this is a wonderful community. one of my favorite events. been here every one of the nine years. we're going to have our 109 anniversary next year. let me just -- 10th anniversary next year. it has been a real honor, privilege and pleasure working with the transcommunity going back to my days on the board of supervisors when we formed the first transgender civil rights implementation task force from which came the first of its kind local ordinance making sure that there was equal access to the county health plan for our transgender employees of san francisco. when we got to sacramento, one of our first bills was to amend the california fair employment and housing act to include gender identity. so we have had an inclusive employment and housing nondiscrimination act here in california since 2003 and i'm very confident that when we re-elect barack obama and make sure that nancy pelosi is once again speaker of the house of representatives, that we'll have an incruste collusive employmen
