what an incredibly busy night for doctors and nurses all over contra costa county. we are here at rip mond's permanente hospital they saw dozens of -- dozens of people last night many suffering from health -- health -- they same to the hospital here many hospitals had to call in extra staff because so many patients were showing up with problems. they say today they will be ready to go again if more patients come in. those patients many of them were having trouble with eye irritation, trouble breathing, people with asthma were having issues and sore throats. the other scare last night for people in the area and many hospitals was that shelter in mace order. it prompted at least one -- in place order. it prompted at least one hospital to close off air circulation from outside the air last night was deemed unhealthy for people. shelter in place order lifted 11:15 last night a lot of patients that abc7 news spoke with said that order did not keep them from getting resick. >> my eyes start burning then my wrote -- started feeling scratchy, my chest started hurting too. t
