abc's t.j. winick details at take and consequences. good morning, t.j. >> reporter: good morning. the violence continues in afghanistan. a new tactic by nato troops to contain a recent spate of killings. another deadly day in afghanistan tied to that anti-islamic film that spread violent protests across the muslim world. this time a massive car bomb killed 13 people including south africas. my son was with me this man said. i hugged him and ran inside the hotel. it comes just as nato is halting most joint missions with afghan soldiers. the coalition says it is also because of heightened threats due to the movie "innocence of muslims" and comes in the wake of a rise in so-called green on blue or insider killings, where afghan soldiers being trained by nato allies suddenly turn on them. so far this year, 51 coalition troops have been killed in these attacks. >> i am fed up with watching seriously good soldiers waste their lives, have their lives wasted, by people who are meant to be our friend. >> reporter: because of the heightened concerns, coalition soldiers will no longer go on
