[applause] colleagues again congratulations and thanks to both mr. harrington and mr. campbell and now if you can call item five. >> item five is execute -- executive director report. >> jason is going to talk. >> the san francisco lafco has been approached by other bay area lafcos to be the hos city for upcoming staff workshop. every year the association rotates around through the different regions and do the staff and commissioners workshop. in april 2014 the coastal region which is the one san francisco is in is host to do the staff workshop and the other bay area lafcos asked if we can host the conference and he day and usually in april. dates are to be determined and i am giving information about it and seeing if this body would be interested in accepting the host. in discussion with the other lafcos they recognize they will jo

i think both lafco and the puc have brought in tremendous people to work on that and we wouldn't have gotten here without barbaraand mike and without the lafco staff of nancy miller and jason fried and the rest of the folks who worked on this and i want to thank them for fostering that close relationship, and i know that's going to be necessary to move forward in the future too so i want to really thank the staff for their hard work on this. >> thank you commissioner. and now commissioner olague. >> yeah. i came in at the tail end of the conversation, but for me it's one of the votes i am most proud of over the time i have been here. this say conversation long over due and this is the beginning of the conversation to trying to create a more sustainable culture and a city that reflects those values and if you look at alternative ways of delivering power really and i think ultimately y supervisor campos for really managing to shepherd in the eight vote its took to really make this a pretty solid vote and commissioner schmeltzer you have been here for a long time and have engaged in these conversations for a while,

reports and joint meeting that will be taking place and i will turn it over to the lafco staff and we were joined also by barbara hale. >> ms. hale will speak to the first item. >> commissioners. barbara hale, assistant general manager for power. since i appeared before you last our commission has authorized us to go forward with a communications, customer notification the taft order with the winning group and we will go forward with targeting the group and what factors that we need to take to add the boards communications and the focus rolling it out, launching the program to customers with service as earliest as july 2013. we expect to be before our commission on november 13 with a proposal for how to incorporate the direction from the board into the program, and then before the yourself and our commission in a joint meeting on november 30 where we will talk again about the same concept. how to factor in the direction we receive from the board into the program as we previously conceived of it. what the timing is that we envision to make sure that we're getting -- we're incorporating that direction and approach
