kira klapper begins our live team coverage in the mission district. >> reporter: certainly the morning after here on mission street. crowds thousands of fans were crowding mission street hours ago i'll step aside so you can see the aftermath. a little destruction, trash piles, charred, still in the mid the street commuters having to go around it. the piles were bigger garbage instructions and street sweeping vehicles have been through the last few hours. it is not as bad as it was. let's show you this incredible youtube video. at mission and 22nd it was police vs. part at the scene of a big bonfire, two rows of riot gear stood as human blockade with police cars behind them overheard, officers told those revelers get out of the street or you will be arrested. they gave the fans multiple warnings before they moved in and after thousands of fans clocking the street. those fans began -- tkhraorbging the street. those fans began throwing bottles, to be honest it looks like law enforcement was outnumbered by these people partying. celebrating the giant's huge win. that did turn violent at ti

kira klapper continues live team coverage. >> reporter: good morning. not much to show you this morning of what those rowdy fans left behind. there are still some garbage piles of what was burning overnight. now just wet streets. trash trucks finishing the cleanup that has been going on for hours now. let's get to you our video of what they are cleaning up after revelers set three big bonfires and mission street. this fire at mission and 21st, 10:30 last night, fans set fire to a dumpster, dancing and cheering around it, watching it burn steps from buildings. police and fire stood back. it was only when the flames threatened buildings, apartments and stores nearby that fire crews were escorted in by police on dirt bikes they to move in to clear the crowds from the flames. others were throwing gasoline creating fireballs, a fire one block away at mission and 22nd where some people had fireworks. throughout the night, they burned trash chance, couches, signs, newspaper racks. a fire chief told abc7 news that monday morning is garbage day so they had plent

kira klapper, abc7 news. >>> 5:03. new from southern california where a moderate earthquake shook the san diego area overnight. the 4.1 quake hit near pine valley before 1:30 this morning, 45 minutes outside san diego. no word of injuries or damage following that quake. >>> uniform supply company in concord will be cleaning up after fire ripped through the business last night. the fire sent up a huge column of smoke firefighters managed to keep it from getting inside the building. the damage was kept to a pile of laundry outside the building. there were no injuries. >>> this morning, grief counselors will be on the campus of albany middle school following the apparent suicide a popular teacher. students gathered last night to remember james izumizaki. he was arrested last week accused of having a sexual relationship with a student under 14. police say he was found dead inside a car yesterday. administrators plan a news conference this morning. terry mcsweeney will have more coming up. >>> this afternoon, san francisco

let's go to kira klapper. >> reporter: as you mentioned that deadline came and went a spokesperson only saying that deadline to reopen damaged tracks in the central valley has been pushed to "later this morning." that's all they are saying this after yesterday's crash that lead to this scene, big rig driver failing to yield, hitting an amtrak train traveling south of fresno. the impact pushed two passenger cars and the locomotive off the tracks. 20 of the roughly 170 passengers traveling from oakland to bakersfield suffered minor to moderate injuries. the driver of the big rig was pinned inside the cab, was removed safely and wasn't seriously injured. investigators state crash happened at a crossing that does have gates to stop traffic. >> initial reports to us from witnesses state the arms were down as you know we will do an extensive investigation and determine that. >> reporter: also new this morning, amtrak spokesperson saying there are no delays, but passengers who are traveling between bakersfield and hanford are being transported by bus. no delays in the bay area. kira klapper, a

kira klapper is live on the hayward side of the bridge with details. >> reporter: good morning.e loud out here we are here on the san mateo bridge which as of 10:00 tonight will be closed to traffic in both directions. it won't reopen until monday morning at 5. it started two years ago when inspectors, during a regular inspection, noticed a crash in a wish bone-shaped girder beneath the bridge. at the time temporary fix was put if place.2jñ caltrans spokesman says it has hemmed well since then. >> -- it has held well since then. >> we went back and designed a new system for where the tressel meets the incline on the bridge. what we are butting this is 12 new sections and -- and new seismic joint that allows the bridge to move during the event of an earthquake. >> reporter: this project will cost three million dollars. it is going to be paid for by toll finds. drivers are advised to use dumbarton, bay bridge and highway 237 as alternates. traffic expected for the big game tomorrow so something to keep in mind as you avoid the san mateo bridge in weekend. also avoid it next weeken

kira klapper joins us from the coast guard station. >> reporter: the coast guard has been searching overnight on the water and by helicopter, still searching for those two men missing since yesterday morning. video from yesterday morning after the boat washed up on the rocks 11:30 you can see it crash and overturned, the boat was tossed by a large wave. four men from san francisco were an board two wearing their life jackets made it to land safely. it took them about an hour to make it from the beach to by homes where they were able to use a neighbor's phone to call 911. >> it wasn't that big of a boat that and the life vest and the guy told me they weren't wearing them, so i don't know, i didn't think it was going to turn out well for them. >> reporter: one of those men who made it to shore was rushed to the hospital. coast guard helicopter and multiple boats were launched to look for the two men still missing. the coast guard will resume their helicopter search starting at 7:00 this morning. kara clapper, abc7 news. >>> -- the trial is set to begin today for the woman charged with murdering

we'll have a live report from kira klapper. >>> this morning, investigators in santa rosa are lookingingfor a serial arsonist three buildings were targeted, two churches downtown and engineering office. lilian kim has the story. >> reporter: this is the worst of the damage doors at the catholic church downtown santa rosa charred. it could have been worse had a priest not heard the sound of the molotov cocktail shattering. the staff says he doused the fire with water as soon as he could. >> nobody has been hurt. it is the doors of the church damaged. that is a disappointment. but we'll get over that. >> reporter: investigators say whoever threw the molotov cocktail also targeted the episcopal church minutes before. no damage here, the fire department says the device failed. another molotov cocktail did ignite at the offices of a civil engineering firm. flames charred the outside of the building and melted an irrigation pipe before a janitor put the fire out. >> i think something like this happens not somebody thinking clearily or making reasonable decisions, just random target. >> reporte
