why has statten island been forgotten? what is the gap in communication here? >> you know, we heard that for the last couple of days, brian. when i was in coney island, i heard the same thing. hearing it hear as well and some people call this this the forgotten borrough. it's hard to explain. you have the epicenter of manhattan, lower manhattan without power and that gets a lot of attention and this place is so large. you think of new york city, over 7 million people live here and you're talking about an expanse, the joey graphy is just massive. it might be that because it was hard to get around, brian, and communication is difficult, that some places felt left out and there they getting the attention now and the red cross set up this relief center here and a place at a shopping center not far from here where they're serving hot meals for people, and they also have the emergency response vehicles that they can load up with meals, 500, and drive around the neighborhoods. some of the worst ones drive in and deliver some of the meals to people and they have the cle
