now, a few miles away same story at the donner lake interchange. last night traffic was a parking lot here but things are looking good today. this is a view from along highway 267 at the northstar exit. things looking good here as well. in south lake tahoe, same story. the roads are looking. this is a view from highway 50 at meyers. now, as for the skiing. all around the lake tahoe area, the ski resorts are reporting new snow and excellent conditions. this is a view thursday afternoon from squaw valley. squaw says they have recieved 9 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. 29" inches since monday. to the south, this is a view from kirkwood which has received 6" in the past 24hours. finally, the sierra avalanche center has downgraded it's avalanche
