south lake county could see snow. we were right on that. if you have been in the north bay, marin county, all day long, even sonoma county, napa county, the low-leveloisture moving in and wet pavement on the golden gate bridge and also a lot of fog developing. so tricky travel this evening. we'll do the same thing tomorrow morning as well but you have to deal with moderate rain. live doppler 7hd picking up a little bit of this low-level moisture. not picking up a lot of it out there. you can see it's mainly centered in the north bay. santa rosa, petaluma, sonoma, some returns picking up there. heading over towards napa, and over towards american canyon, but elsewhere, if it's coming down, it's so light the radar beam is sweeping live but can't pick it up, which i typically the case and you can see a little returns here and there east of san jose. right now, 49 in santa rosa. 50s elsewhere across the bay area, and here's a look at the forecast. rain will increase overnight. we have another cold front due in here overnight. get ready for a wet morning commute. and then stormy outlook. looks like, towards the latter part of our work week. this has bee

sonoma county. by loem we'll see rain spreading to other parts of the bay area south of the golden gate a bit of the continuing overnight. the front out of here until 5:00 in the morning but behind that front pockets of showers. there will be wet spots in the morning. if not, area wide. so be on the lookout for that if you're commuting. then later in the day, scattered showers becoming more widely scattered, tapering off again by late afternoon, early evening. by 7:00 tomorrow evening. we'll look at rainfall totals not tremendous. but wet weather is on the way. there is some snow. we're looking at possibility of four to eight inches of new snow above 4500 feet. so elevens are high there. not a lot of moisture with this storm. about one to two inches of snow is suspected. high tides we're talking brks highest tides of the year is 7.1 and seven feet respectively. again, we don't expect rainfall to be heavy enough to add to the threat nif kind of localized flooding. overnight tonight, lows into low to mid-40s so a cool to chilly overnight. a cool to chilly day tomorrow, high temperatures reaching only

sonoma county pushing down santa rosa. then steadier rain around the north bay, beginning to push south of golden gate and by 5:00 tomorrow afternoon, widespread rainfall across most of bay area with moderate to heavy rain in many areas. showers will trail into wednesday. by 7:00 wednesday evening we'll be looking at mainly dry conditions but we will have received quite a bit of rainfall by then. totals up to 2 inches in the north bay mountains. inch and a half in the north bay. 1.2 inches in the east bay. half in peninsula and two inches in santa cruz mountains. over in the sierra, winter storm watch is in effect, four to eight inches above 4,000 feet. back here in the bay area, brings you wet and raw up in the north bay, rainy with highs in the upper 40s to around 50. rain will spread. monterey bay, dry and bit milder tomorrow with high temperatures generally in the mid to upper 50s. rain will be late to arrive there if it does at all. here is accu-weather seven-day forecast. showers wednesday, mainly dry on thursday, tah slight chance. drying out friday. another slight chance of showers on saturday. then it looks great
