the push of cold arctic air has set up in alberta clipper. it is bringing some small to the upper midwest. as winds begin traveling across the lake and temperatures and a drop in we turn up the lake snow machine. here's a plot of these temperatures. these lines of equal temperature. that is the cold air on the move coming into this area. we're now two degrees colder than yesterday when we hit a high of 46 and midway. we will not do that today. as you can see upstream there's even colder air...
