meteorologist jeff berardelli from our miami station wfor is tracking this latest weather system. >> yet another massive snowstorm moving through the plain states during the day today, and on the warm side of this system, there's the threat for severe weather. some of the same places that were affected just four or five days ago with over a foot of snow in the plain states could see another foot of snow during the day today. here's the snowfall forecast. we're expecting in the strip of purple that you see, places like amarillo, texas, could pick up a foot of snow. again, central kansas that was just impacted by that huge storm a few days ago, they will see in some place over a foot of snow. that extends to kansas city. and during the day on tuesday, some of that snow will move into the great lakes around chicago. they could pick up a half a foot of snow, but it's in that purple strip that some places will pick up over 20 inches of snow in isolated areas. and on the warm side of this system that's across the gulf coast state, during the day on monday especially there's a threat for se
