underway and the owner hosted a private party where head coach john harbaugh said he danced the night away with his young daughter allison and super bowl mvp joe flacco said he was operating on about an hour and a half of sleep, so running on fumes this morning but happily talked about the game at a news conference this morning. harbaugh joked he thought he had lost the lombardi trophy at some point. then the team hopped aboard the charter touching down in baltimore just after 5 p.m., the emotion of victory very fresh, the head coach trying to put his gratitude into words. >> quite a night last night, just proud of our team, proud of our coaches and our players, happy for our families and most of all, happy for all the people in baltimore. we saw some amazing pictures last night of the streets being closed in baltimore and everybody partying. >> i don't think iwould be quite as enjoyable as it would be if we hadn't gone through all the stuff that we've been through in the last couple years, this year. so i think we kept the faith all along and this is where we envisioned ourselves and i think that's where we're here. >>

john gobel. great to talk to you. how does it feel to be back at home finally? >> it's great to be back at home. i was able to reunite with my son jared, daughter allisono be back at home. >> did your kids know while you were on the boat what you and your wife were going through at the time? >> well, it sort of started out, got back on the ship after we left cozumel, and they were having a late night party. and i decided to get a little bit more rest. turned in early, my wife stayed out with some of her co-workers. and she got back to the cabin very late. and then we were awoken to an emergency at about 5:30. they were requesting report to the engine room six. and i knew there was something going on. >> so when you heard team alpha and you saw the smoke, what was your first thought going through your mind? did you think you were in big trouble? >> yeah, i knew whenever there's a fire onboard a ship, i mean the ships are pretty much self-sufficient and we're relying on the crews to get the fire put out. >> john, do you think you'll ever go on another cruise again? >> you know, it's funny, i spent half of my life sailing on ships and i'm also a merchant
