tuesday sees the end of bidding in christy's on-line charity auction of works by andy warhol.ere of the original kingkong. friday, the first sunrise on the norwegian island since october. and saturday's the night for the annual grid iron club dinner in washington. an occasion for politicians and journalists to poke fun at each other. back to the weekending for just a minute. to say our good-byes and thank you to linda mason who is retiring after 47 years here at cbs news. linda was the first woman to serve as a producer on what was then the cbs evening news with walter cronkite. she went on to serve in many leadership positions including for search years as executive producer of this broadcast. most recently as senior vice president linda has continued to be our staunch friend and champion not to mention a mentor to countless women and men including this one who work here. linda, we will miss you. but knowing that you're still going to be watching every sunday is sure to keep us all on our toes. we move on now to contributor ben stein who will remember the week past for a diff
