anybody like a florist, the pizza company, a messenger service with the vehicle, water delivery, anything with 4 wheels, cannot park on that street and serve any businesses from octavia to embarcadero. there is something wrong with that picture. italy leaves a large companies able to do it. what if you have a repair truck? i passed one doing that on market and octavia. they parked on the sidewalk, their only alternative. if you go downtown, down in the financial district you will see very few parking spaces for regular delivery vehicles. they are all heavy truck deliveries. if my business wants to do business with somebody downtown i can't do it. or if i want to do it, i will have two people, one driving and one running out to drop off the stuff. is that fair to the small business in san francisco? i don't think so. and stuff like that happens, how to get notified to the rest of the business community? whenever mta does anything, and they make decisions, loss of parking is not counted as part of any economic study. to then it is not part of the equation. i think from our point of view tha

put up the floor box, you can, in addition to adam, we have kim, florist from ford pit capital, brianrom et cetera capital, and todd in the mix. brian, you first. the earnings season in general, we have scene beats on the bottom line, but we have not seen revenue, and, in fact; there's more misses on revenue than gainers. what do you think of that? any concern looking at the market records? >> well, it's not been a good quarter for revenues. they are down a bit for the s&p 500. not quite as bad as one thinks. the story for a long time has been earnings strong, but it's been op margins and revenue growth has not been, that's not quite true. revenues up 30% since the first quarter of 2009 through the end of 2012, just this quarter. a lot is energy. take energy out, revenues and earnings both growing at 4%. not quite so bad. liz: get to news corporation, we have numbers coming in from news corp., the parent of the network, adam? >> reporting, we're reporting our parent company, revenue of 9.5 # 4 billion, liz. now, on the earnings per share, this is the nonadjusted. they report $1.22. th

you go to businesses like that, it could be a home-improvement agency, the person who is maybe a florist, they often turn to what they call a funeral service provider in order to meet compliance. they are giving them the money to pay their taxes and they think they are signing up for their taxes to be paid. well, we have a company whose name i will not mention that just disappeared. you know what disappeared? they disappeared and the money that these businesses, like those in others paid and, thinking that they have paid their taxes, it also disappeared. what is now happening is that the irs is coming to them and so they feel that they are going to double pay and then they are getting penalties and fees and so on. some want to talk about this, but i was pretty jazzed when i heard about this situation. businesses, the irs has seen these types of problems before what reforms will you make to deal with this? i want to look at prevention and also make sure that these small businesses don't have to double pay. can you tell me how you see this problem and what you see to correct this problem?
