howard county businessman stabbed to death inside his home. now she speaks for the first time about the night his teenage daughter plotted to him kill and her too. kai jackson has her story. >> howard county police continue to investigate dennis lane's murder. loved ones remember a man who was passionate. >> dennis lane's murder rocked the howard county community. he was stabbed to death inside his ellicott city home. it happened the morning of may 15th. 19-year-old jason bulmer was charged but say lane's daughter, 14-year-old morgan arnold plotted the murder. she told bulmer to stab her father 10 times in the throat. in columbia on tuesday family and friends held a memorial service for dennis lane at marry weather popes pavilion. >> as a tribute to dennis to see everybody here knowing that he made a huge difference. >> the only thing worse than death is to be forgotten. dennis will not be forgotten. >> denise was lane's fiancee. she was also a target. >> we were robbed of our future together. i need you to know that he saved my life in the last few moments of his own life. i never got to say i love you one last time or to hold him. >> ♪ [ music ] ♪
