demetrius -- allen, let's start with you here. we think about the fact that this jury is all women. you think that is a critical factor. why? >> well, critical factor, i think one of the things has to do with aggression and the pursuit of someone. i think women might be a little tougher on george zimmerman for not following the pole police dispatcher's order to cease and desist. men just have a higher level of this flight or -- fight or flight and so i think that might really help the prosecution when they're valuating the evidence. i think that other factors are going to be more important. i don't think it's just gender that is going to define the verdict. men could be sympathetic. men can be interested in protection. men did care about somebody. just as much. so, i don't think gender is really going to have a huge impact on it. it's things that co-with gender and the attitude and experiences of these jurors that is going to matter. >> laura: joe ellen, the theory of hot foreman might be or forewoman in this case a the love people are trying to guess. we have general descriptions o

back with me my guests and also joining me is jury consultant jo ellen demetrius. jury is made up of six women, five mothers, five white mothers, women, what difference do you think that will make to the dynamic in the jury room, if anything? >> if you look at your show over the past couple weeks and you have much of a different opinion with multiple women on, you can see how you have in disagreement they can be get. >> i'm glad you said that. >> [ laughter ] >> i was actually involved on one of those panels. >> i know you were, yeah. no man can get away with saying. i'm sure that's true. i'm also sure, although they won't be aware of the huge attention the trial is getting on television, they will be aware, i'm sure, before that this was potentially going to be a big story, wouldn't they? >> of course, they are. let me give you an example. what a sequestered jury gets as a newspaper in the morning, looks something like this. >> right. you know it's on the front page. >> the whole paper looks like that. so definitely they know it's a big story. many of them knew a

let's bring jury consultant joellen demetrius joining us from phoenix.t's great to have both of you here. people say this is very weird, this is a six-person jury, all female. the six-person part is not weird, in florida, non-capital case, you don't have 12 jurors, you have six. now we have the all-female part. let's start with you, jo ellen. how unusual is that and why do you think the two sides wound up there? >> well, chris, it is unusual to have a single-gender jury. sometimes you end up with that if you have people get off and alternates come in. i think what's important to realize is from both side's perspective they agreed on this jury. we know the prosecutor tried to get rid of a few of the jurors. the judge said no, you can't do that. the same thing is true with the defense. truly this is a jury that both sides have agreed upon. but it is very unusual that it is an all-female jury. i'm not that surprised, though, because i think that what perhaps both sides wanted to take out of the picture was the mail perspective which is that as males grow up
