sf general said it also transferred some regular patients over to laguna honda hospital to free up beds for the crash victims. >> some of the injured were taken to stanford medical center. with shows the scene as some of them arrived there. you see an ambulance and several gurneys with injured passengers. hospital staff are surrounding them. stanford says the hospital is prepared for major disasters like the asiana airline crash. >> we rehearse for emergencies like this. we have an emergency operations team and we rehearse several times throughout the year for different kind of disaster and we were prepared. we have mobilized the emergency department and our trauma department to be prepared for an emergency, for an unfortunate tragedy like this. >> well, the proliferation of cell phone cameras means photos and videos of the crash were posted online almost immediately after that crash happened. the photos that we are seeing which were taken moments after the crash are just -- they are amazing. they are startling. two deaths and 182 injuries are certainly a tragedy, but when you look at p

one of those hospitals is laguna honda hospital. 11 people transferred there from san francisco general in order to free up beds for patients who have come in with more severe injuries. we are told that the hospital is prepared to accept more patients as they arrive but again they are saying that anybody who basically come comn at this point has a less severe injury. but there are a number of people who are critical. craig? >> so waves of patients showing up at the hospital now? >> reporter: some were transport the earlier. 130 people were transported to area hospitals total. as you mentioned earlier, 60 unaccounted for. there were 291 passengers onboard along with 16 crew. we really don't have a breakdown yet of exactly where they are especially considering the fact they are being transported to different hospitals from hospitals at this point. 130 people were transported. but some people apparently just didn't need to be taken directly to the hospital and have made their own way there for treatment. >> all right. thank you so much for that update. captain, let me bring you back in her
