so this is a graphic from our october 15th open house which we had to talk about expansion. and i'll say that although i certainly would have liked to roll out thousands of bicycles we were disappointed to roll out 300, 350, that has afforded us an opportunity to do things a little more thoughtfully. if we had rolled out with the initial number they would have been in that service area and the initial thinking was when we got the missing 150 bicycles we would indeed fill in the gaps in that service area but we've been thinking about it hearing from people watching how the system is being used and our thinking now is today ahead and move into areas where we don't have stations now that are basically contiguo u.s. and go around the corner down mission and valencia into the mission and this doesn't mean filling in isn't a good idea but right now if we have to prioritize, sure would be nice if it went to where i live a little more or where i play and i think mission and upper market definitely fall into that category. i have an couple of slides that explain our thinking more on

the benefits of traditional medi-cal and expansion medi-cal. but i will keep with the terms traditional medi-cal and expanded medi-cal. the benefits package between traditional and expanded medi-cal will be the same. there is one note that i think is of importance to this group is that there is some state and federal policy pending regarding long-term support and services for the new expanded popping. it's definitely, i don't want to say a gray area but there is some waivers that are pending and we are still waiting for some policy clarification around there. so to kind of bring that full around, i think most people are familiar with the medi-cal program. i did want to put that into the context of health care reform. health care reform does more that expand the medi-cal program. traditionallly medi-cal will continue for persons with disabilities. expansion medi-cal will now expand it to children with income below 250 percent federal poverty level. i do have some examples on what that means because i know not everyone knows what fcl is. and adul

and not having the ability to participate in those expansions so i'm happy to see this has been amended and has made it clear that we're not talking about an extension, we're talking specifically about replacement repairs and it's outlined clearly in the resolution, so i really appreciate that. i'd like to mention that on a side note that money that these meters generate, whether it's a ticket, whether it's a payment or what have you help to pay for issues around transportation and we definitely need to make sure that strategically, we're continuously placing meters in the best locations possible, but also the community outreach process is open and such that the folks that are mostly impacted by a change from non-meters to meters are a part of the process, and we don't necessarily go into the neighborhood with the plan to already place meters there, obtain the community and place the meter there anyway, so i want to make sure in moving forward that we are just being open-minded and understanding especially because i think we're kind of venturing out past the territory of commercial area

project goals the reason i'm doing this expansion have numerous. address need for familiar editions and work requirements. there are two of us living in the home and i use one for office and equipment etc. address family and friends for disabled access. my parents are elderly with a likely possibility they'll be moving in with me. i have a friends in wheelchairs and my friend is in one. i can't host family events holidays because people can't get into my home. address for more than amenities one goal is to restore the facade it's currently stucco. naturally i adhere to the planning code and contagious advantage for other opportunities during this process. so project development. the project was developed over several months working with my architecture firm and also the planning department. so there right quite a bit of feedback that we received from the planning department that was morpd into this project. so you know there's been things about out of control development but because we're adhering to the guidelines i don't think that's the case. we
