mr. robins. member s of the public, let's hear from the member s of the public. >> good afternoon, miss brown. >> hi, thank you commissioners and director ruskin, i'm sally brown, administrative assistant for supervisor breed. supervisor breed is very much aware of the safety and transit impacts on these large corporate busses. the transit impact, these large tour busses through the alamo square neighborhood, it's been a constant struggle for the community. it's not a safe virpb environment for the pedestrians because of the wide turns the busses need to make. also noting the safety of the idle wild students, traffic has to go around the buses in ood lane and what we also have been seen and told idle wild students are actually stepping off the streets into the crosswalks and the traffic does not have a few of the students going into the streets and they can't see the traffic coming on, on-coming traffic. so it's also, one of our biggest complaints in the office, in the district 5 office, is of co

(applause) >> all right. so, i'm up here to present the graffiti-watch volunteer award and the graffiti watch program is a program that started about four years ago. over 300 people enrolled in the program, and about 180 of very, very active people,. very, very active means those people go take time out of their busy day to go remove graffiti and make san francisco be graffiti-free. and in that 180 there are very, very few that get up early in the morning, early -- i mean, 3:00, 4 o'clock to go and make sure the neighborhood is clean before everybody wakes up to see a nice clean street or nice clean wall. and the awardee tonight and the winner is larry win ham, if he would come up an

robins has given us in the past few years. >> next speaker, please. . >> john morris, todd geist, todd olive. >> switch over to the overhead. >> there you go. >> good afternoon, mr. morris. >> there's the view that's become so popular. it's funny, that was the view on the opening of full house, the television show. looks like we have a full house here today, a very important issue for us neighbors. i've lived in the alamo square neighborhood association for 25 years and for 12 of those years i've been across from the park. i'm here to speak for my wife, my children and my neighbors. of the 6 houses there, 3 of those houses are homes to elderly folks who can't be here ka but they have been putting up with the drastic change in our neighborhood. in the past 5 years we have been dramatically overrun by tour busses, as you have heard. there are 52 other neighborhoods that have bus restrictions and why not alamo square. there are 4 busses that support those lines, not these invaders. alamo square have been an integral part of our city for 50 years, that's fine, but the busses don't belong on those narrow streets. otherwise there would probably be muni lines on scott
