police in santa rosa are asking for the publics high pressure as they investigate a dang gang related stabbing. the victim an 18-year-old boy. alex savidge is -- well good morning. san francisco's police department gang -- now they are trying to track down a group of young men who left this 18-year- old man with several stab wounds. the assault happened last night. this victim was found on gardener avenue. this is right behind lawrence cook middle school. this young man was rushed to santa rosa memorial hospital although police are telling us that he is expected to survive his injuries. the teenager told police he was confronted by this group and then attacked. punched, kicked, and stabbed by a group of seven or eight people. police say they were all gang members. >> he reported that seven to eight subjects had more or less jumped him and challenged him about his gang affiliation and proceeded to punch, kick, and stab him multiple times. >> reporter: that group drove away in an older model silver honda odyssey. its a van that is similar to the one we are showing you right now. the young men behind the attack is one that is in their 20s. the sergeant in this -- alex savidge yust. >>> the six peop
