i have resources. it reinforces this idea that when you have been in a broken system for so long, you can come to accept an embarrassing low standard. so how do we train lawyers to change that? i really think that -- i sort of now, although i came up with the name the southern public defenders training center. it's not just training we do. when people think of training they think of learning cross-examination skills and of learning the law. what we do is teach lawyers to adopt values that are missing in the system. we give them strategies when they confront challenges in the system to overcome those challenges instilling values in them and we have a membership community that reinforces to try to do that and the goal is when they are raiseing the standard of interpretation. in 10 years one of them will be sitting at that table, one of them will get that question an they will answer it correctly. i don't have enough resources. the movement is about teaching people to be better lawyers today but also build

i have watched that change. i also think, personally i have worked very hard throughout my career to be as intellectually aggressive about both sides of the aisle in some places in between in order to not allow myself to be animated by political feelings. i really enjoyed the political discourse. i do not feel particularly swayed one way or another come and that can take a lot of effort over time to be unbiased. i also run into many things interviewing people around the country. people interpret that as i chose to republicans, not understanding we get a signed. -- we get assigned. when you are in an environment that is very conservative and have a chance to talk to people, i have heard quite a lot of criticism and i take it seriously. i also think that is the world in which they have lived, they are less likely to be drawn into the media if they have been raised in the community, whether we're talking about a school, church, or town that thinks the media is fair. you are not typically drawn to pursuing something

i have early childhood traumatic brain injury. i am currently attending ccfs campus and volunteer one 1 day a week. i entered this system in san francisco in early 2000 before i lost my apartment and to my knowledge there are no services for traumatic brain injury in the city and county of san francisco. the city and county of san francisco continues to assess me for what i qualify for. and i have never been assessed for what i need. i have been a human ping-pong ball going between the myriad of sf agencies for what i need. i have the managers tell me my needs do not fall in the scope of practice. it means the city of san francisco finally narrows what they can do that their hands are tied. skipping over most of this to the end, these no parking signs are permission for the sf p.d. and sf mta to bully us and they deprive the people of the right to sleep. did you know that depriving human beings of the right to sleep is a common tactic used for terrorism. i think this is immoral for people who are law abiding citizens. please discon
