pachenko street, the way people get from southeast san francisco to the golden gate bridge. so what looks like a lazy street in the morning, in the afternoon becomes a circus. one afternoon i was driving home and parked in front of my house and a car came up behind me and stopped. a guy came out of the car and banged on my window. i talked to him and he says, don't park here. now mind you this is in front of my house -- don't park here, go down the street and there is a parking place down the street that it's easier that i can get by. so the first time that i was ever kicked out of parking in front of my house. but it just shows what goes on that street. i got so griped i joined the homeowner's association and got on the board and decided that i would take on infrastructure. that is when i found out that mr. nick carr existed and had this program that he was doing to try and stop this traffic. and so we are and have been, since i have been on the board, which has now been three years working with nick to get something done and we have got a plan. thank you, please consider i

southeast. from 2003-2005. the san francisco adults among the latino from 14 percent to 27 percent, african americans from 28.5 percent to 32.4 percent. this is especially important for the african american and latino communities. it's been a great pleasure to work with amanda and other staff have been great to work with as well in coming up with this report. also christina gupta, a senior health planner has been a great advisor on this issue as well and roberto vargas from the university of san francisco health policy program and dr. laura smith who is a professor of health policy at ucsf who have been visors on this study and advising us on the impact of sugar sweetened beverages. at public comment i just want to acknowledge beatrice cardenas duncan who is a community leader and active with groups like shape up sf and the labor movement as well is here. breks board of education board of education president is here. and corner store coalition and an organizer with t ndc and todd davis who has been a great leader in our neighbor

san francisco. one hospital here on this site in the center of san francisco and a second hospital at the caesar chavez in the growing neighborhoods of the southeast section of the city. today is a pivotal point in the history of the medical center and for the health care system in san francisco. for one hundred and 50 years cpmc has been providing citizens with the most advance mcavailable. with the construction of our two new hospitals we'll be in positional to continue to serve the medical needs of the residents of san francisco for decades to come. we also have with us the president of the board of supervisors david chiu and supervisor mar farrell. both supervisors along with david campos were the 3 who helped new york state the final all the time to move this project forward. we appreciate the dedication of each of you to final approval. also, we can't precede without acknowledging one person who was vitality to the success of our project lou. he lead a series of very frank and positive productive discussion that helped to move forward this project and his help in this process and his service to the city of san francisco is appreciated. jude

these are programs happening in the southeast sector and the mission and southern part of san francisco in ex-else ori and the number of bikers in the city and do our part to reduce our carbon foot print. i would like to thank hernandez who is with the bike coalition as well as oscar grande working with podder to share bikes with youth in the city and we look forward to this program expanding with your support, colleagues. i also want to chime in on mayor lee's announcements about wanting to expand the minimum wage. i think it's significant that he is looking at $15 an hour as what the possible minimum wage could be. this year i took part in demonstrations around fast food chains that are paying significantly less than what is the current minimum wage in san francisco. i went to demonstrations in oakland. it's clear that there are reports of workers who actually do not make enough money working 40 hours a week on minimum wage and ask for assistance from the food stamps program which is also attached by the federal government. it makes sense that we make sure that we can raise the minimu
