. >> erica gro is live roaming around town. i'll tell you, erica, it was a weird commute for me this morning. usually the roads that are plowed are not which made it a little slippery. how's it looking for you? >>reporter: well, so far we've had a pretty easy drive, though there are definitely a couple spots that you have to watch out for. so right now we're on route 5 heading south in prince george's county and we're heading into southern maryland, the kind of hot spot for the snow this time around. and we've definitely seen some of those overpasses and side roads still covered in snow, but the main road here, route 5 is looking good. if you're a little bit nervous about heading out early this morning, i would advise you to stay on the most right hand lane and not get into the passing lanes because as i'm looking out the window, out the windshield here, my photographer, kevin king, he is staying in that right hand lane, thand seems to be the lane that's had the most traffic and therefore it doesn't have any snow on it. however,
