of course, it's kind of self-evident that if we had teachers who are truly bilingual biliterate, it would be better. i'm interested in some staff follow up about assessment of the language ability of teachers in the bilingual program. they all have to be credentialed to teach in the bilingual program. but, i don't know what, how we focus our professional development, how we talk about that. i would like to have some sort of staff response comments given the reality that we have legitimate, you know we can't create the teacher, we have to get the best teachers that are available. so i'm interested in what we think about that what we can do to address those issues in terms of being aware of all the constraints that we have. >> if i can suggest that at the meeting we have a discussion of it and ask our human resources department to do an analysis for the hiring and testing for language ability and if we feel are adequate for the teachers from language ability. it has to do with the conversation that we've been having at the labor meeting as to retention and we can augment that meeting so eve
