we're at bird avenue, the northbound 280 bird avenue off ramp where you can see caltrans arrived. this has been shut down for a good hour now because there is a clogged drain. you can see the water as it comes towards us, piling up a good request six inches. caltrans just pulling up. so you can see chp has it shut down but once they get this unclogged this should be reopened pretty fast. as chp was pointing out to us, what happens you don't have these rains, those drains do get clogged if they don't have anything flowing through them. once he figures out t caltranses driver, where the drain is he will get in there and pop out whatever debris is keeping this clogged. until that happens this is the bird avenue off ramp and northbound 280, this is not a major off ramp so this is not having a tremendous impact especially when you consider it's still early but we would suspect that maybe by 6:00, the next 15 minutes they would have this reopened. speed is at the limit. it's trying to get this water that's settling here. who would have thought after all of this news we're hearing about
