ktvu's pam cook is in the newsroom now to tell us what happened on board that flight headed to hong kong well, for the second time in a week, a flight hit severe turbulence, injuring passengers. six people, two crew members were taken to the hospital. that's after a flight from san francisco hit severe turbulence over japan. it happened on a cathay pacific airways flight that went on to land safely in hong kong. some passengers are talking and tweeting about their trip. they say the rough conditions actually threw some passengers out of their seats and caused them to hit their heads on the overhead bins. we do have a statement that cathay pacific posted on facebook and twitter. the airline said medical assistance was provided for the injured passengers and cabin crew immediately upon arrival and cathay pacific is providing assistance to the affected passengers and saf. they say -- staff. they say safety is our first priority and we're collaborating with authorities to investigate this incident. hashtag tush bu lens. there are a lot of comments from worried people sitting at airports. as
