now at reagan national, we had 6 inches. parts of washington saw 10-11.his is kind of what's left over right now as this very hard snow. we had pretty much every type of precipitation yesterday. i want to show you we are in northeast washington on the corner of h and third 3rd street and the roads behind me, if you look, you can really see the ice. it is very shiny. it is very glazed over and the roads are not only slick, but also the side walks. this is something i have been struggling with all morning myself. it is hard to find a spot that isn't icy. streets, i know a lot of people and the sidewalk especially, we're trying to get the salt out here. you're slipping and sliding. if you can stay at home, another day to doha. main roads look pretty good. as far as any street parking goes, that is going to be difficult as the plows are pushing all of that snow to the side. walk with caution this morning and stay indoors if you can plus it is just kind of cold. if you have to get out and shovel, do it in small increments because it is still a very, very heavy

we had 38 for the official high at reagan national. average it out, another below average day. today, 74ars ago degrees was a record high in washington -- just six years ago today. 30 at annapolis. on the mid sure, temperatures dropping into the mid-20's overnight. the windchill is not a feature, just nice and crisp. crazy cold pushing way south. 24 in dallas. but the key is it's pushing more to the south than it is to these. we will stay in the 30's. it will stay on the chilly side but we are watching a couple of systems that will have an affect on our weather. some rain down south will move out should -- will move offshore. if we look farther west, we can see a couple of features. one disturbance off the coast of california, bringing some rain. another one farther north may be bringing rain to northern california. this one may become a big storm when it gets out in the ocean, but not for us. thatne the effects of saturday and sunday and you could get a dusting to an inch or snow -- an inch or so, but no big storm. keep your eye on the fact we are getting closer to spring. if
