police in new york arrest two people for flying a drone over the george washington bridge not far frome helicopter. this happened early yesterday morning. the cops say the drone came within 800 feet of one of the police choppers before the pilot of the drone turned it away to avoid. our chief correspondent, jonathan hunt is here with more on this. so what exactly happened here over the george? >> one of the cops in this nypd helicopter noticed some lights approaching just after midnight monday when the chopper was near the george washington bridge. on closer inspection saw that those lights were actually a drone. apparently the chopper pilot felt he needed to take evasive action to avoids being struck by that drone. he then followed it. it landed on top of a van. cops went to take a look at the van on the ground and they said, yes, these are our drones, we're just having fun. cops didn't think it was so funny. >> any words from the men or lawyer? >> they were released on bail. this was a publicity stunt on the d.a. to have a chilling effect on people just having fun. this is a dji phan
