so i was in a punk band and i was going to private jewish day school and playing in a punk band on theistence. and i wanted to go on tour. we wanted to go on tour. so we had this meeting. i remember all of our parents came to my parents' house in new jersey. and they like put out food for everyone to eat. and then they discussed us going on this tour, which my friend and i were going to book -- this was before the internet. there was a book called "book your own f-ing life." and me and my friend evan went up to his attic in teaneck, new jersey and we booked a tour that went like new jersey, carolinas, atlanta, florida, texas and back. we got paid a combined $300 in the two weeks we were on tour.
