we're expecting to launch in napa and solana operators and sonoma marin area rail transit district has announced when they enter into revenue service they will be clipper-only. so this map just gives you a quick glimpse of those expansion efforts. so a quick look at the clipper program history, as travis mentioned, clipper has been successfully in use on mta since about 2008. and i think the main purpose of putting this slide up without getting into a lot of clipper history is really just to show there was the precursor program translink, that was the original effort to coordinate fare collection in the nine bay area counties and in 2010 the program was rebranded to clipper. that is where you see this big spike in use of the program. it was not just the rebranding effort that resulted in that use, but more importantly the movement of a significant number of payment instruments onto clipper that led to that exceptional growth. so we do have many customers today, and we do have a very high rate of customer satisfaction, despite the fact that clipper doesn't always work for everyone in ev

very high, a line of light rain in napa right over towards sonoma and then petaluma, measurable amounts into parts of marin county in the sonoma county/marin county border. in the a lot but a lot in the seera. our line looks like it's definitely lifting northward. there's a lot of low clouds as well and mostly cloudy to the north as that line lifts slowly north. 66 in brentwood, 63 in pittsburgh, 64 in san ramone. if you thought it was mild, it is due to the cloud cover. a lot of 60s. hills bury. west mainly and clouds east to west and underneath that, a little sea breeze. some locations though are calm. you don't have to go far to see either. pretty good breeze or hardly any at all. mild and warm conditions continue. there you can see the line kind of lifting very slowly, so cloudy to mostly cloudy and look at the line that stretches right over us from northwest nevada to the bay area. there's a little low right here that has to be -- that is going to get brought up by another low in the pacific northwest that will keep the push and low fog going and temperatures blow average and warmer towards the end of

greens, drizzle embedded in with the fog and also the cloud cover being the most consistent into marin, napa, sonoma counties and the tri-valley. we'll see this push out with sunny skies returning tomorrow afternoon, but it's going to help to moderate temperatures and keep them stable. the next thing i want to bring you to is probably what you're noticing on the seven day forecast, that is much hotter weather. it's going to get sparked off by high pressure building in and desert hot air through the next three to four day forecast. temperatures will likely range from 60 to 100 degrees as we head throughout the next four-day period. you can see the worst heat we are expecting will be in the tri-valley. next monday, temperatures range 94 to 97 degrees. so with that kind of heat coming our way, it's for a good cause. certainly enjoy friday's forecast, because it's not going to be nearly that hot. san jose, 83 degrees for the expected high. morgan hill getting undercut by some of the onshore flow, 79 for your temperature. areas of drizzle with 63. palo alto, 81 and the 60s right across san francisco, fro

city, there is the line, that was from chloe and then right back over towards parts of marin and north of the sonoma coast and the mendocino coast but that line is definitely out of here. that line was lit up yesterday and things are beginning to develop rapidly and i would expect more 2:00 and 3:00 and yesterday was absolutely crazy out in the valley. we may see some build ups especially in eastern santa clara valley, you get how much moisture in the air and it's definitely lifting north tonight into tomorrow and low 70s for some and livermore is one of the warmest. 64 and palo alto at 75 and the breeze is picking up, 24 gusts at 31, west at oakland and west at novato, even in the south bay, 20-mile-per-hour and due west at livermore, san jose cannot get rid of that breeze, that soughtly pattern, 70 own in ike kind -- ukiah, this is driving up another low west of us and the higher clouds are on their way out. more sun, these are well pillow bash below average and the high will be 68 and it should be between 62 and 49. unseasonably mild, ocean temperatures not el ninio and noter west wind, torii in.

but we're also now starting to see, again, that cloud cover pretty extensive in marin, napa and sonoma counties. this is the fog data right now. and a little bit of light cloud cover right across the eastern shore. and eventually, may see some of this go down towards san jose. as you get a look at the fog forecast, you can see at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, most of the clouds in the north bay again. a little bit for the tri-valley. and then for the coastline. we may also see some of that move into san jose. and typical pattern coming our way. as we head throughout the afternoon hours, sunny skies expected across the bay. but if you're headed to the beaches and again you're here visiting, you are going to need a jacket. not the bikini or the bathing suit. it is going to be chilly out here with temperatures likely in the 50s. let's take a look at the microclimate forecast. you can find your zone and then find your temperature. the corresponding city next to you. you can see here to the south bay, as we get a look at that microclimate for wednesday, 81 in san jose. but as you head towards the ext
