it's in the deep south, feeling like summer near texas and arkansas and missouri, where we are 94 degrees in springfield and 92 in dallas and 95 in alexandria, and jackson, mississippi 91 degrees, this heat is building and it will remain to the south throughout this week and the upcoming weekend and it will not make a journey to the north and east to the mid-atlantic. what we are watching is low pressure now over the great lakes. that low pressure center, an associated cold front bringing severe weather, approaching detroit wtd severe thunderstorm watch, this is pushing to the east and we'll grab one more day tomorrow with the sun and clouds. looking good around the region, there could be thunderstorms, down towards popping in the northern parts of pennsylvania, and then on thursday we start to see the downpours start to bubble up in the western serbs and then thursday afternoon can it could turn active. and it doesn't look to be severe but drenching downpours around and they start to fade here by 7:30 thursday evening. that is important because we have the eagles in town for their preseason game and mo
