once again there were so many good books on teddy duchess been a great trilogy on teddy roosevelt socouldn't just do a biography. i was searching around for what could my new ankle be. i found early on these 400 letters between teddy and taft and i know they run against each other in 1912 but i know i give up close friendship that developed between them from the early '30s. i guess i love human relationships so the idea these two men have been such intimate friends and eventually ran against each other and felt betrayed and then eventually come back. that story in trade to me there's been intrigued me. >> teddy roosevelt's father died young and then he married someone had met in college, and kind of did marry someone he had no much longer. then his wife or less right after childbirth dies, and the same time his mother dies. so he goes into a bit of a depression. then he moves out of west and he abandons his daughter a bit. how did he abandon his daughter, and then he made a famous speech or letter nixon later used in a speech saying a lighthouse gone out from my life when my wife die
