the police union says brentwood has developed a rather generous reputation. so police have put up a facebook post warning the public that giving money to panhandlers will only encourage criminals to come to brentwood. the anti-panhandling campaign got started after a man asking for money outside of a bank told a police officer he prefers to come to brentwood because people are nicer and give more money. some people we spoke with say the campaign is a bit harsh. >> people see in their hearts to give, i mean, you can't say to somebody well, don't give to somebody. it is -- it might be a little coldhearted. >> the post office urges people to call police if someone approaches them and asks for money. >>> one of san francisco's oldest soup kitchens is about to open a state-of-the-art dining room and gave us a sneak peek today. the st. anthony's foundation is putting the finishing touches on the new dining room. the kitchen will have some of the most advanced equipment in the industry and will accommodate 30% more people. it is also located on the first floor inste
