so the team arrived back here at at&t park at about 4:30 this morning. they got straight into their cars and went home. but first, larry baer the president of the giants team brought the trophy and talked to fans who were greeting the team. he was exhausted but elated. >> there's a culture here that they never give up. we have had some down times but they just are there for each other. they love each other and they fight for each other. >> we would like to tell the fans is this belongs to you. it's been an amazing run. and we're not done. let's just keep going. we have a lot of same players back next year so it's pretty special. >> reporter: as for fan celebration in the city last night of course, you know, some people had to pull this. things got rough in the mission district. besides the bonfires, one person was shot and another stabbed. they are expected to live. the scene at the civic center in san francisco was a lot fun. a concert broke out. it got crazy there, as well. thousands of people came for the city sponsored celebrations but a lot of fun.
