three homes caught fire in clifton heights late this afternoon. three people including the firefighter are at a hospital. and fox 29's dave kinchen is live near the scene on south springfield road. dave? >> reporter: still a very active scene here lucy. let me step out of the way and show you what's going on at this hour. firefighters here from several different departments on the 200 block of south springfield road. you can see one of three homes damaged here. heavy fire damaged right there. the bottom half, the bottom floor completely char. the top flee as well. we understand and we'll go to viewer video here to show you the intent is the of the flames. fire officials on the scene are telling us that three people were taken to the hospital including a firefighter. we do not know the extent of his injuries. but three people including a firefighter taken to the hospital. this all started around 3:00 o'clock. it went to two alarms and one neighbor actually toll thus they saw a lot of orange and heard a lot of windows popping out here. listening to
