the centers for medicare and medi-cal services the five as stars quality of service they give. the facility provides short-term as well as long-term skilled nursing care. psychiatric acute care and outpatient clinical services. this is a summary of the residents and patients that jewish home currently serves about two-thirds of skilled nursing facility beds are residential care beds. 1/3 are short-term stay and they have 12 acute psychiatric patients everyday. 76 percent of their residents are present san francisco, 76 percent are over the age of 75 and 94 percent of the long care residented. they are on medi-cal, the short-term stay patients have a mix of payer sources and some of them would be low income but the majority are low income medi-cal recipients. they have a limited speaking individuals. 46 percent speak russian as their primary language. the coming for short-term stay are alzheimer's, dementia and paralysis. the proposed project before you today are two components. they propose to make changes to the existing services and also create new services called the square.
