joe johns is in staten island where eric garner lost his life back in july.ric garner, 43 years old. father of six. lived, died in staten island. what's happening there snow. >> we have seen crowd come and go, don, frankly. and right now it is pretty quiet. if you look over my shoulder here, you see just a handful of people here at the scene. where that altercation occurred in july of this year. the middle of july. not many people is all. earlier this evening there was a larger crowd. interspersed with a lot of media. from time to time we saw people coming through, talking to the cameras including the father, in fact, of eric garner. and one of the things he did was call on the crowd to remain nonviolent. he said as far as he was concerned he didn't want anybody here in new york city, any other family to suffer in the same way his family has suffered. over the last several months. a few others, councilwoman came by. we saw some just regular folks. expressing a lot of rage. a lot of anger. and saying, you know, one man, i talked to at least, told me, in his vi
