virginia governor terry mauliffe is out of the hospital this noon. now, we've been reporting that he was injured during a horse riding accident in africa over the holidays. mauliffe's spokesman says the doctors have drained one liter of blood from the governor's chest since he checked into the v.c.u. medical center on monday. mauliffe developed the complications after breaking seven ribs around the christmas holiday on a trip in tanzania. he says he is back home and resuming his daily schedule. staying in virginia they have ordered charles severance to undergo a mental health investigation. his attorneys say that severance may not be able to understand the charges against him. jeff goldberg is in the courtroom today and he'll have much more from today's hearing starting here on abc 7 news tonight. irginia man is in the hospital this noon after an early morning fire in arlington. that fire broke out aroun this morning on the 2100 block of south randolph street in the shirlington section of the county. firefighters rescued the man from the burning home
