i am speaking first in the capacity of an event producer, owner of ec productions. over the years my company has been involved with [inaudible] bluegrass, nike marathon and other large events and secondly speaking in the capacity as a san francisco resident who is particularly involved in the richmond district. from the work i have seen that he's done in the community i believe he's the best candidate for the position. as a san francisco event producer i worked with nick in the capacity of doing community outreach. prior to him being involved it was challenging to build a bridge within the communities. when nick joined the discussion there was a marked difference. there's now a positive open community dialogue established for many of the events i have been involved with. most notably the yearly meeting in the richmond district where the community can speak directly with the event producers of the bluegrass festival and rkt events and impacting that area are asking to participate in the meeting. it's a vital meeting whereas it's the only place that they can respond t
